We Love Tuesdays!

Kaitlin has been taking a dance class for about three weeks now. She absolutely loves it. She looks forward to Tuesdays every week. I know she's only two, but I love that this is something special just for her. (It's also very fun for Mommy to get to dress Kaitlin in her cute little ballerina outfit!)

The class consists of ballet, tumbling, and playful songs involving movement. Parents get to participate with the girls at this age, which is great since Kaitlin doesn't let me leave her side anyway.

Here are a couple of pictures of Kaitlin before her first dance class. She was a little nervous, so I couldn't get her to smile. (Of course, Ella Kate takes dance too!)

Sweet Girl

I just wanted to share these sweet pictures of Kaitlin. She loves her baby dolls, and likes going to sleep holding them. Don't mind the mismatched pajamas!

Inspiring Video

Be sure to check out this video. My friend, Kristy, let me know about it. Very awesome!http://www.mychurch.org/blog/30635/coolest-video-ever

Maggie Moo Designs

I wanted to show everyone this adorable shirt that a great friend of mine made for Kaitlin. (Please overlook the chocolate on her face and shirt.) Alison Harris is the designer/creator of this beautiful little birdie. We've had it for a couple of months now, and Kaitlin just loves wearing it. Whenever we put it on, she says, "Miss Alie made this for me." How special!
I am constantly amazed by the creative new designs Alison creates. She makes beautiful burp cloths, taggie blankets, onesies, shirts, etc. I already have her working on a new creation for Kaitlin. Be sure to drop by Maggie Moo Designs to see the wonderful things going on there (http://www.maggiemoodesigns.blogspot.com/).
Alie, I'm so proud of you!

Dancing Queen

We traveled to Memphis this weekend to attend the wedding of my cousin, Jessica, and Travis. There were about 20 of us that went from this area. The wedding was very beautiful. We had a good time, and we loved getting to see Jessica, Travis, and my Aunt Jeanette.

We really enjoyed the music of the band. Kaitlin's favorite part of the wedding was getting to dance! Kaitlin was too shy for the real dance floor, so we made our own. She had the BEST time cutting a rug, especially with her Uncle Ricky. It was so entertaining and precious how she enjoyed herself so much. Thanks, Uncle Ricky, for dancing with your girl. Look at what a great time they had.

Kaitlin also enjoyed eating cake with her Uncle Jody. She asked about cake the whole time during the wedding, so she was first in line when they cut it!

We went over to the Peabody Hotel hoping to see the ducks, but we just missed them. Here's a picture we got of the three of us in the Peabody.
